Cost of a LHD Zed

Post by John1950 »

Janet my wife has recently been interviewed for a job in Switzerland. We've both got our fingers and toes crossed so I was wondering, has anyone any ideas regarding changing my 2.8 RHD for a LHD? costs, availability or is there someone here who would swap?

Oh - and oops, just noticed I've posted this in the Z4 section instead of Z3!
Humour me, I'm old...

Buy one in Germany - they're cheaper there than in Switzerland - I bought mine there years ago - and have'nt regretted it for a single minute.

try www.mobile.de or www.autoscout24.de - they're both great sites!

I found mine on mobile...

Thanks Ferdinand
I've just had a quick look on Mobile - and quite a few of the cars there are ex-England and RHD - but I'll keep looking.
Mind you, still haven't got any feedback yet on whether Janet has been offered her Geneva job - but I'm VERY keen to go.

You'll love it - great country - great roads - just don't get caught speeding = very costly!!!

See if you can a find 3.0i - a bit more umpfh... and such great "noise"... I simply love mine!

Yes, I'd like a 3.0. But regarding speeding, I can see it being on one of those occasions when you open the throttle to whizz past a lorry.....

Only 3 days until we hear if the interview was successful.. :)
