Can someone say for definite if it is the only one that colour?[/quote]

Hi Pings,

I asked David M if Sharky was the same car as the steel grey he knew of.

He said it was not the same car as the other steel grey was on a 51 plate.

Go hunt Sharky 2 down if you can!

If it comes up for sale in a BMW garage I'll certainly consider it. It wasn't the colour that attracted me, it was the warm glow of the BMW AUC cover. When I got my 330 I used the warranty twice in 3 months. I bought the car in London and had it repaired for free in Nottingham. You can only get that from a main dealer. I also enjoyed the guaranteed MOT pass, but, unfortunately, you don't get that now.

The BMW AUC warranty is pretty bomb-proof. I hope you don't need to use it, but if there are any problems, no matter how trivial, get them sorted before the year is out. Then you can decide whether you want to extend the cover. Personally, I wouldn't as £1,000 is a lot of money for a warranty. Better to bank it and use it when you need it, or get a non-BMW warranty.

I'm watching the S50 prices tumbling and I'm just waiting for the right one to come up and I'll buy it outright. I may even wait until next autumn.

It should be Dee. I've got my fingers crossed and everything else.

Just need to receive the insurance certificate and get it to the dealer so they can tax Sharky.

The dealer is then going to deliver to my home address on Friday.

Needless to say, I can't wait

Looks like Sharky has the hots for Toadster already given the way he is admiring her rear end, best keep an eye on that P.

It looks real stealthy in that Grey, and would look even better with a hard top added. Very nice :)

Hi Rob,

Of course you can have a drive.........in return for a private lesson :D

Muppet, stop blaming yourself. It was just one of those things.

I am being careful where I put my foot down though and look out for surface water or oil spillages before I go for a blast

Sorry, got carried away a bit... :D

Yes, it's true, it is nice here, many brits are buying houses here. Even Heather Mills wanted to buy a nice vila but there were some problems with the papers. You should come and visit...it's cheap to fly here, if I am not mistaken the flight costs about 100€ with Ryanair.
Back on topic - almost. :D

We're lefties - LHD I'm affraid... :D
But look at the bright side - most of the Zeds are LHD...;) ...so yours has to be even more special and it's value will only grow... 8-)

Yes, been away a while - bought a new house, unfinished, so most of the year I spent geting her into a moving in stage. And, more important, become a fresh daddy in april. My little sunshine loves the Zed - must be mine then... :D

And, on top of all, I can only connect over GPRS - and this takes ages...so, I honestly hope to get my DSL soon...promise to be here more often though!

Take care!
Thanks!

Great to hear from you Austin! :D

You have been busy!

LHD is not so bad if you can't find a RHD steel grey :D
