Air in system, Caliper Pistons stuck, or Brake disk warped maybe, check disk discolouration also, a bluey colour suggests overheating.

Common problem as said. It can sometimes merely needs the rubber sliders greasing and also the pads cleaning up and also the grooves on the pad carrier.

Other causes can be a slightly corroded caliper piston.

Thanks the advice guys, i was going to buy a new caliper ..... i didn't realise you could get them for £35  is that for the M ?? i decided to have one final attempt at saving the caliper so i got a replacement seal kit off fleabay, advertised for an m3 but are the same calipers, anyway they arrived i'd also won a flexi brake line clamp to stop any more brake fluid dripping out when the caliper was off, ive never done one before but thankfully it was a doddle :D and so far it's workin fine, i guess time will tell :shrug

Mmmmmmm.

330mm. Those'll fit in the standard wheels, right?
Just kidding.
I know my 312mm's with Brembo calipers are the very largest thing that those little wheels will accomodate without the caliper lathing a grove into the rims!

They look nice though. Are they with E28/E30 M3 hubs and strutts?
Best regards,

Sam Lever.

Yes they are E30 M3 hubs (E28 hubs will not allow the ABS to work) 330mm front and 328mm floating disks rear.
The best bit about it is that the hand brake is so much better.
