Continuing on from the other thread, I have had a response from BMW Germany, the team who organises trips for BMW Clubs visiting Munich. Based on a 10 day trip and 3 days in Munich, taking into account weather, school holidays, factory schedule etc, they recommend the following:
BMW Germany
- July 3/4/5
- Partner: Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich (around the corner of BMW Welt, BMW Museum and BMW Group Classic).
- Group discounts available.
- Facilities: BMW Group Classic, BMW Welt, BMW Museum, BMW Plant Munich, BMW M GmbH, BMW Recycling-Center and BMW Driving experience.
- Costs/event will be based on what options we choose.
- Based on 30 people, 15 cars.
- Organised parking in front of the BMW Museum and BMW Welt and BMW Group Classic for photo shoot.
From UK BMWCC
- June 30th - Agreed starting point at Hotel in Netherlands (7 hours to Munich)
- Overnight stay with Dinner
- July 1st - 3/4 hours drive to next meeting point for overnight stay
- July 2nd - 3/4 hours drive to Munich, arrive Leonardo Royal Hotel
- July 3rd - BMW Tour
- July 5th - Depart Munich
A napkin plan to begin with, once the discussion has progressed to actuals, numbers, days, events etc, I can get into costs, hotels, points of interest, travel etc etc.
BMW Z1 30th Birthday Tour - 2019
Re: BMW Z1 30th Birthday Tour - 2019
Tempting event. Tis warm in southern Germany that time of year though!
Is BMW holding some sort of special Z1 event or are they just hosting an organised group of visiting BMW owners who all happen to own Z1s?

Re: BMW Z1 30th Birthday Tour - 2019
No special event that I am aware of, as they held a 25th anniversary of the Z1.
Re: BMW Z1 30th Birthday Tour - 2019
This def does sound like fun!! Been a very long time since I've been on any Tours! Only prob is June 30th is my Birthday, but would be a great way to celebrate
Open and close with German style and ingenuity!
Re: BMW Z1 30th Birthday Tour - 2019
