HILFE: Z1 Karosserie Werkstatt in Bremerhaven oder Umgebung DRINGEND

Post by Palm Beach Z1 »

Jegliche Hilfe waere Super!

Hi,

that will be very expensive, if you want to have a qualified repair. So the distance shouldn't be be no problem.(insurance has to pay)

I would recommend to contact Franz Schaffer in Moosburg near Munich ( https://kfz-schaffer.de/kontakt/ ) It's not near to Bremerhaven, but I'm sure he is able to organise a transport and he is the best for Z1-repairs.

Michael

You could also try RKV Trading in the Netherlands.

Besten Dank

RKV trading also has spare parts, they may have what you are looking for.

Most of the forum members here are not German, that is why it is better to write in English.

Thanks for understanding

Hallo Martin,

(if not, try deepl.com for translation 8-) )

"BH" = Bremerhaven?

Viele Grüße
Michael

For those that wish to know what was said in German:

Hallo Martin,

I guess you speak and understand German, that's why I'll write in German... (if not, try deepl.com for translation 8-) )

"BH" = Bremerhaven?

I don't want to scare you, but I'm curious about the result.
How many Z1 doors have they repaired and/or maintained so far and, above all, how many side windows have they already replaced on the Z1?

I have repaired a lot of Z1 doors myself (but I don't do that on other people's cars anymore) and once had to change the windshield on the passenger side of my own Z1. Believe me, that was hell! It took me three days to get the window to close correctly again. For each new adjustment/adjustment of the window, the complete door must be removed, then change the setting, reinstall the door, test and do the whole thing again until it fits.

At that time I swore to myself that the next time a side window broke the glass, the insurance would have to "bleed" and I would have the car brought to Moosburg to let Franz Schaffer do it. :D
