Nope, not me mate. AFAIK the Evo is a 'test' car lent out to various forces to have a play with to see if they like it.

It's rather nice (see my Avatar) but we didn't buy any 'cos they're too expensive to run :bawl:

£100 in fuel a day and a service every 2 weeks.

I suppose the Met might have a couple on long-term test, but I doubt they bought any. They're fun, extremely effective and help boost morale. No bloody way we'll get them then............. :bawl:

Certainly looked the part, don't see many crims bothering to try and out run it.

What do you drive? and are you marked or unmarked?

Mk1 Cortinas? Granadas, please! Or Mk2 Escorts or Capris. That'll do me! (OK, so I grerw up with The Professionals).

I'd be up for a meet, Sunday preferably. Anyone else? Gazza?

At work I drive both marked and un-marked. Volvo T5s, BMWs (woo-hoo)
Merc MLs Vectra VXRs and Skoda VRs - all marked. Not telling you what the unmarked ones are!!

I'm sure I could do Sunday, if you start in the morning I would have to meet later about 3pm due to work.

EDIT, weather doesn't look good for Sunday

Well, you didn't say it had to be in Essex. And there is a Cafe Nero two doors down for the people with no tastebuds, a Costa within about 100 yards, too.

I may even be persuaded to run a mini-cruiselet if anyone is interested. :|

I take it the title of "Z3s in Essex" didn't give it away then?

I suppose you can pop down too.

Anyone got a preference for a meeting place (in Essex) and time? Something easy for all to find, like M11 J8 services, or a bit nicer like Chelmsford?

More the merrier, I say.

If it is going to be another 8am start I won't be able to make it. 11-12noon would be better for me.
