I,m thinking of replacing my soft top its 11 years old now and getting a bit tatty the only ones I can find other than BMW supplied have the rear screen sewn in. Does anyone have any thoughts on this are they easy to replace if they split I would rather have the BMW one but they are to expensive .

new soft top question
Re: new soft top question
I had mine replaced with one with a sewn in window about a year ago. Had no issue with it & my roof is down more than it's up.

Re: new soft top question
Had my top replaced a year or so ago, it's also got a sewn in window. I did ask if it was possible to replace the window without changing the whole top and was told it would probably cost a couple of hundred quid to do. Don't know if this is true, but decided to to take the risk anyway because the non-OEM roof was a fraction of the cost of the BMW one and hopefully I won't ever need to replace the window.
