Has anyone ever done a wide body conversion, is so what did it entail?

Paul I have sent PM regarding the bits I have them all for sale
Zedonist Regarding fitting a face lift boot and lights you would also have to change the inner rear boot pan as this is different to mount the rear lights. Quite a big job as it is welded in

To make a pre-facelift in to a pre-facelift wide body is it a "simple" case of swapping the bumpers, bonnet and quarter panels? Do you also need to swap the rear axle?

Widebody-conversion involves changing the rear end only. Essentially only the rear wings and bumper need to be swapped. Depends what wheels you want to fit as to whether you need to change the axle. IIRC the 1.9 axle is the same width as the ///M, so you could possibly fit ///M rears.
