Brake Calipers

Post by Trevsky »

Due to sticking front calipers I am considering rebuilding them. Looking on ebay Budweg do a kit including new pistons and seals etc for both sides for £62.95.
Anyone had experience of these or can recommend a better one?

Their rebuilt calipers seem to be of a good standard so I shouldnt see a problem with their seal kits.

I recently had sticky front brake issues at MOT time, and decided to sort both the front Calipers- I went on Ebay to see about a repair kit, and a company called Carfactors UK were advertising reconditioned calipers at £47 each, with a £15 surcharge fee included-Always dubious about surcharge fees, but very easy to send old calipers back, and the net cost was £32 each- which was almost exactly the same price as the repair kit, and no faffing about. Seems a very professional good quality recon.
