scumbag keying door and bonnet

Post by pedro20001 »

Washed, clayed and waxed car yesterday, cleaned and reproofed the hood then parked in garage. Went out today to see mate in derby and come out to find a 6 in scratch on passenger door and the bonnet has been done as well ....bugger

Assholes.

Is is definitely through to the metal?

I would try wet sanding it, then rubbing compound and then some G3 scratch remover.
You may be surprised and to be honest you have nothing to loose.

That's awful to hear mate, can't believe people still do that, thought those days were gone. Middle of the day I take it?

Sorry to here that, it's unbelievable that's there's scum like that walking about with nothing better to do. Do they not realise the cost implications when doing such a stupid mindless act? I wonder how they'd feel if you keyed there face! :head:

Cheers

Sorry to hear this...it's happened to me and I know how annoying it is. I only wish it was possible to find the culprit, pin them down, take their pride and joy which will probably be their phone, place it in front of one of zeds tyres then proceed to drive back and forth over it until the desired finish is achieved
Designed or not designed, that is the question.

Nightmare. Just back from the coach works and read this. My father in law had his brand new Merc convertible keyed last week at Cribbs Causway in Bristol . Bonnet and all the way down the side . No CCTV apparently.

Anyways he gets the car back in 4 days and around £1200 quid lighter.

Why do people do it?

Seems like a British thing. That and smashing the glass in bus shelters. Doesn't happen in other countries.
