Aerial grommet

Post by Alan W »

Just a quickie, I recently noticed that the little rubber grommet that sits between the aerial base and wing on my car has perished and starting to break up, being a clumsy oaf I just wondered if this was a piss easy job and how it should be tackled?

And can anyone tell me if this is available as a single part as opposed to having to buy a new aerial?

Thanks

Alan

Yes, it is. I bought one from ebay a couple of years ago.

Don't buy from ebay! Cheaper at the dealers.

I did mine last Friday (thanks to Spurs fan in a Coupe) and it looks much tidier and cleaner now.

Cost me £7.

As said before, cheap and easy to do.
Buy from the dealer. Even if they probably don't have it in stock you'll have it in a few days and for a good price.

And if it is like in Milton Keynes you might have the chance to seat in the new i8 and eventually drive it!
