Hi Guys,
When reading on here how to take the seats out i read that there would be 3 cables to undo, when i took my seats out there were only 2. There is a third cable on each side that wasnt plugged in, as below in the pic. I therefore presume this is a standard wiring loom they used but my car didn't have an option chosen to utilise this 3rd cable, im guessing it was probably heated seats.
Can anyone confirm, is this a heated seats connector or something different?
Thanks
K

That's supposed to be connected to the flux capacitor.

From memory, yes it's the heated seat connector.

Apart from the flux capacitor, i would also suggest it could be used for a seat belt sensor, (too thin for heated seats me thinks) we do not use the seat belt sensor this in this country.

Ah ok, sounds more than plausible, cheers!

Whatever you do DON'T disconnect it!
I agree with Brian the seat heaters are fused at 15A and that wire is too skinny.
It is probably for seat belt or seat occupancy sensors neither of which are fitted to your car by the sounds of it so I would just cable tie it out of the way.

Cheers all. Seats are back in and the car is all fine so it definitely wasnt required, tucked it back under the carpet from whence it came.....
