Hi, I have the business tape unit and like the nostalgia of playing my old tapes. I also have the CD changer in the boot, but when I switch the source over on the head unit, nothing is there, it's not recognised. I know both are original to the car.
Any ideas what I can check please?
I'd like to keep this setup rather than change out to something modern.

Re: Cd changer not recognised
Hi there,
Have you checked all the loom connections behind the cd unit? Also, does the cd changer load up when you insert the cartridge? You should have a green light on the front of the unit, where the eject button is.
If you do have power etc to the changer, try slipping a credit card of some sort under the cartridge, so that it causes it to reject, then once it is out, press the eject button so that the unit resets itself. Once this is done, put the cartridge back in, let it load the discs, then try again.
I've had to do this to mine a few times over the years.
I hope this will sort out the problem for you.
