Any one tried Hankook Ventus Prime 3 K125 ?

Post by Brittas »

I just ordered x4 for under £130 (16"). I know they are not really that sporty but My 21 year old 1.9 doesn't get thrown around that much.
I was trying to get Uniroyal Rainsport 3's but x2 tyre companies were messing me about trying to get hold of them.
I have had the Hankook evos (sportier) on a Z4 before and was impressed.

No doubt they will be ideal for town driving.

I recently watched a tyre comparison video on YouTube, the budget tyres were ok until demands were put on them, understeer/oversteer and braking were the biggest problems.

I’ve used budget tyres on other cars in the past because they suited a purpose.

Yes.

They were under the car when i bought it two years ago, and they do what it says on the box. They are marginally beter than wooden wheels and the fact that Hankook sponsers Real Madrid won't help you as you careen off the road towards a 300 year old oak.

If you drive sedately you'll be fine, otherwise get a set of, at least, Continentals. That's what i'll be doing this April.

Drive carefully,

Dave

Hi,
I went from used and barely legal Hankooks fitted on the car when purchased, to 4 Uniroyal Rainsports. They are very impressive. Grip in the rain is nearly as good as on dry roads. Not sure how they compare price wise, but I'm not sure I'll be looking around when comes replacement time...
