Just out of interest, what sort of price are people paying for agreed value classic insurance for a 2.8....I'm over 50, full no claims and drive the car noore than 4-5000 miles per year.
Currently pay about £170 but it's not agreed value (just had respray...car immaculate)

Mine is not an agreed value but comprehensive and wife on as named driver, I am 66 and pay £138 with Saga for my 1.9

2001 2.2 sport, 60 years old, fully comp, protected NCD, wife as named driver, 5000 miles per year: £166 with Saga

2000 3.0 fully comp with Halifax bought through confused.com. £132 but got a £20 Texaco fuel voucher as part of the deal so in effect £112. Very pleased with that.
