Eurocarparts

Post by dazthephot »

Here’s something that I didn’t know. It looks like Eurocarparts and Carparts4less are the same company but one is always cheaper than the other at different times.
It’s worth checking and pricing the two off each other.
Also if you’re looking for non specific things like engine oil if you don’t put your reg in for the search the oil can be cheaper!!! Bizarre.

Carparts4less is online only, whereas Euro Car Parts have stores so you can click'n'collect, maybe that's why carparts4less is cheaper?

Have known this for a number of years and posted about it on forums, always check between the two for prices when looking for parts and use the discount codes they show on their home page. If you sign up with both for an account you will get emails detailing the latest offers and codes to use. Postage is very quick from Carparts4less, never had a problem using them. Have found them cheaper than local motor factors.

I’ve found oils cheaper than ECP (even with their discount) on eBay

Many manufacturers spec their oil, so just looking for 5w/30 isn’t enough.

Something that im learning about having wondered about the Dexos 2 that was put in my 320D

However my thoughts were about today’s oils being made to a higher standard than when our cars were new, meaning you could buy lesser branded oil. Maybe.
