My 2000 Z3 2.3 has the airbag light on steadily. My Peake Research Airbag reader will not turn off the light and only registers (E) which means the car is not responding to the tool. I have accessed the SRS module and tried unplugging it after disconnecting the battery. No change. Am I correct in concluding that I need to have the module checked out/reset? Is there a reputable company in the states that will do this?
