Picked up my new-to-me Z3 yesterday and it rained overnight...

Post by Bumpa »

And this morning I have rain on the pasenger seat and on the passenger door sill (see photo). The soft top on this car is virtually new and looks fine in all the places where rain might enter. I have been unable to locate the source. What are the most likely places and how do I fix them? My passenger won't be very impressed if she gets wet in the car!

I my view most likely to be the plug at the top of the windscreen pillar - it dribbles along the side and typically falls on the seat

That was going to be my first suggestion as well.

Thanks all. I have sealed the plugs at the top of the pillar with Shoe Goo and despite some serious rain yesterday here in Scotland, all is dry inside. Fingers crossed it remains so!
