A quick hello from a new Z1 owner in Pennsylvania, USA

Post by acaciolo »

Hello,
I am the proud new owner of a beautiful green Z1 that I just purchased here in Pennsylvania. I've already used this forum as an amazing resource in my search for a car.

so...a quick hello, and wondering if there are any other owner's nearby?

thanks!

Tony! No would appear to be the answer, im thinking you've got the only Z1 in PA so good luck with your new car and hope you contact a fellow owner in your State at some point, do the Z1s come from South Carolina like the Z3s do? Z1s are very rare here in England, ive never seen one on the road! Happy Motoring and im guessing its unusual where you live to not be driving some Detroit iron...my girlfriend lives down south over here now but shes originally from Arkansas so like Brian Wilson said - the southern girls with the way they talk they knock me out when im down there..

take it easy...that's Glen Frey! Jeremy.

It’s amazing how many people haven’t seen a Z1, I get it all the time at shows and while in traffic.

Apparently 64 registered on the road in Q2 2019 in the UK. With mine being black, I normally get ‘is that the Knight Rider car’

Greetings Tony,
Congratulations on you Z1. I sort of am “close “ but not that close. In the Northeast.
Specifically Hanover, New Hampshire..
If my memory serves me right, I do believe your car was owned by a very active members in the BMW CCA and also the BMW Classic Car Club of America. Welcome.
You will have fun driving it and put a smile on your face. You will get the biggest kick when driving on the interstate and people are taking pictures while they pass you. Just wave.
I hope to see you at some events in the future.

On another note to the powers to be, AL06263 is not listed.

Thank you
