Terrible, Terrible news. Passing of our friend Udo Pott

Post by acaciolo »

I just got the terrible news that our friend Udo Pott (Potti) passed away this past Sunday. Even though I've only had my Z1 for a short time, he was an amazing help to me and we became fast friends on his visit here to PA last week.

Terribly sad and a huge loss to the Z1 community.

Yes indeed,

Heard the news today from a close friend in the German club. Very sad that such an enthusiastic Z1 guru with a large and expanding business built around our Zettis is no longer with us.

He had only just returned from the USA where he had held the first workshops for the growing band of USA owners.

He will be sadly missed by many in our community and, of course, his wife and young family.

Yes. That workshop was at my house. He stayed with me for 4 nights and we had a wonderful time. My wife and I were planning a visit to his place next summer. Every time I push the remote on my Magic Doors I'll get sad.

It's awful - just awful.

Let that be a lesson, if we needed one. Get out there and enjoy life!
