6 month insurance

Post by Patty »

Does anyone know of an insurance company that offers 6 months cover, I usually sorn the Z over the winter months but with the covid lockdown and travel restrictions I've not taxed or insured it this year.

This is something I'm thinking about as well, so would also be interested to hear of others experiences.

Suggest insuring for 12, retaining any NCBs that apply to full term policies, then switch to 'laid up' cover for the months you don't plan to drive, ensuring your car is still protected whilst offroad.

Normally any broker specialising in Classic policies do this, and is one of the options from BMWCC Insurance. Do check things like admin fees are reasonable.
